About Checkmate Betul
Checkmate Betul is a free, girls-only chess initiative bringing world-class training and mentorship to underrepresented communities in rural India. Led by an inspiring team of titled players from around the globe—including Women International Masters, Woman Candidate Masters, and professional instructors—our program empowers girls to build confidence, critical thinking, and leadership skills through the game of chess. Proudly sponsored by ChessKid, Checkmate Betul offers interactive virtual lessons, engaging workshops, and inspiring guest speaker sessions.
